 Grow the light beckons on you

As the plants elate on its sighting

The dark is stifling 

It has long endured

So the light beckons, grow!


At the scent of water be invigorated

It is innate though resource dwindling

Hang on for dear life it shall pass

As the dark will surely usher in a new day

Let the light be food for your growth


Do you not know of the shade  of your leaves

First, the satisfaction of your fruits

Then, the pleasure of its ripeness

Sweet succour for the ailing traveller

Oasis in a growing desert


I bid you grow!

Quite a journey lies ahead to fulfilling destiny

Grow!!!
